We moved into our home a few years ago and knew when buying that the roof was at its end of life. Adam and his team were professional, punctual and most importantly their craftsmanship was second to none. Their clean as they went mentality was evident everyday as when I came home I would always see them crossing each of their paths with rolling magnets ensuring “no nail left behind” as they finished their day. They also took the time to recommend well-placed snow guards and new chimney crickets that will give me confidence that the roof will weather the MA worst winters. Within 24 hrs of the team finishing the roof we experienced a torrential downpour and just as I expected no leaks and it was quieter than the previous architectural shingles! We absolutely love our roof and highly recommend Adam and his team at MSSMR.
When we decided to change our 25 year shingled asphalt roof to standing seam metal, our first quote wasn’t from Adam, but it was our last.
At our initial meeting Adam was prompt, professional, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained/demonstrated every step in the process of installation and had samples of the style and color options to help make the decision making process easier for us. We also had a few structural issues on our old roof and Adam knew exactly how to handle and repair prior to installation of the new roof. We hired him on the spot!
From that initial quoting process, through the installation - which began and ended within the time frame promised - and the final clean up, Adam and his team were top notch every step of the way.
Adam was there on the first day to be sure everything and everyone was set to go, and from that point on it was clear his crew was highly experienced as we watched them work effectively, efficiently and totally in sync. They were always friendly and professional and we were so impressed to see them clean up all the bits of scrap and nails after each day’s work. The final clean up and sweep of our property was immaculate.
The finished product is gorgeous and exactly what we wanted - several of our neighbors have even stopped and commented how beautiful it looks on our home. We could not be happier!

After we moved into our 1st house, looking at the garage stressed me out (a moss covered, twice shingled, rotting mess of a roof). Then our house's main stone chimney began leaking every rainstorm. We love our house, and wanted to give it a roof we could trust to protect it.

They were not the first ones we spoke to, but they were the last. They were the only ones that wanted to know the condition of the roof boards. I felt very confident signing them on and having an option of financing helped greatly.
They were quick - took only 2 to 3 days from start to final clean up. Very professional crew that know their work. We are very happy.
As an architect, I understand the process and requirements to do a good job. I liked how they insisted to remove the old shingles and install 6 feet of ice guard and ridge vent. Great detailing and flashing. Job well done.

We love our new standing seam metal roof and were very happy with the entire team at Modern. From the first meeting to the last day of the project the team was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We had a small leak in a sky light a few weeks after the project was finished and within a few hours someone came out and fixed it. Great experience overall.
